  • Science and Math Grants

The Rocky Mountain Chapter of the Armed Forces Communications and
Electronics Association (AFCEA) proudly announces that we are now accepting
applications for science and math grants.  The objective of our Science and
Math Grant Program is to encourage high schools to advance their
technology-related programs in areas of interest to AFCEA.  The intention
is to encourage students to pursue degrees in science, technology and
mathematics.  Schools are awards grants to purchase:

      · Supplies, books and other science- or math-related materials
      · Hardware and/or software
      · Operations, maintenance or upgrades to existing or new programs
      · Support for science fair projects
      · Laboratories
      · Projects deemed appropriate to further excellence in science and
         math

The criteria for these grants are:

      · Be an accredited high school in El Paso county
      · Identify an appropriate use of grants based on the areas listed in
         the above paragraph
      · Submit the attached application form with all seven areas fully
         completed and postmarked no later than 1 May 2011
      · After award, provide documentation verifying the grant was used
         for the approved purposes
